Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was spotted having dinner with President Trump at Mar-a-Lago last night.
It’s noteworthy that Trudeau’s public itinerary did not list a scheduled visit to Florida, as The Gateway Pundit previously reported.
The unexpected visit sparked controversy, especially after Trump announced his intention to apply a 25% tariff on all goods imported from Canada and Mexico—a daring step to address the ongoing illegal immigration crisis.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Trudeau and his liberals are panicking to react to news about tariffs to be imposed on Canada.
Just two hours after Trump posted the tariff threats, Trudeau called Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate, and the two spoke about trade and security at the border.
Trudeau knows that, unlike Joe Biden, Trump is a man of action and does not bluff on his threats.
“One of the things that is really important to understand is that Donald Trump, when he makes statements like that, he plans on carrying them out,” Trudeau said. “There’s no question about it.’”
“Our responsibility is to point out that, in this way, he would be actually not just be harming Canadians, who work so well with the United States, he’d actually be raising prices for American citizens as well and hurting American industry and businesses,” he continued.
Trudeau is under tremendous pressure back in Canada due to crumbling job approval numbers thanks to his own immigration failures, inflation, and a massive housing crisis. Add a 25% tax to everything Canadians buy and one is looking at a significant recession.
On Saturday, Trudeau arrived in West Palm Beach to meet President Trump for dinner at Mar-a-Lago.

Photos of the meeting quickly surfaced online, showing a composed Trump hosting a visibly uncomfortable Trudeau.
Social media erupted when a photo emerged of the two leaders at dinner.
“I’m so entertained by all the ring-kissing going on right now at Mar-a-Lago,” Nick Sortor wrote on X.
Another user wrote, “He knows he’s been an utter douchebag and failure at running the country that is America’s hat.”
“That little weasel is so scared right now,” another wrote.
A commenter on Daily Mail wrote, “Trudeau rushing to Mar-a-Lago like a kid caught cheating on a test, hoping Trump will bail him out of the economic mess his leadership has created. The 25% tariff is the wake-up call Canada didn’t want but desperately needed, exposing Trudeau’s failure to prioritize his own country’s interests. He’s not just trying to salvage trade; he’s desperately clinging to his political career, praying this meeting might buy him a shred of credibility ahead of an election no sane Canadian wants him to win. Trudeau is done, and no photo op with Big Daddy Trump will fix that.”
But the true star of the evening wasn’t Trudeau—it was a young boy caught in the background of the dinner photo.
The boy sitting behind Trudeau and Trump seized the opportunity to create a moment of mischief. With his hands dramatically raised and his face contorted into a playful expression.
