President Donald Trump unleashed on the spineless Indiana Republicans who just torpedoed a slam-dunk redistricting bill that would have handed the GOP a crushing 9-0 congressional stranglehold on the Hoosier State.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, the Indiana State Senate stunningly killed a proposed congressional redistricting map that would have locked in a 9 Republican – 0 Democrat congressional delegation, even though Republicans hold 40 of the chamber’s 50 seats.
The bill failed after more than half of Senate Republicans voted AGAINST it, effectively doing the Democrats’ work for them.

The move comes as Democrats aggressively gerrymander congressional maps in blue states to cancel out Republican votes nationwide, a strategy Indiana GOP leadership inexplicably chose not to counter.
Before the Senate vote, Indiana Senate Majority Leader Chris Garten delivered a fiery, unapologetic defense of the map, a defense that now stands in stark contrast to the cowardice displayed by his colleagues.
“Some will say these maps are political,” Garten said, pausing before slamming his hand on the table.
“Let me be clear: YOU’RE DAMN RIGHT THEY ARE! POLITICAL POLICY IS POLITICAL! SAFE STREETS ARE POLITICAL!”
Garten went on to connect Republican governance to real-world results:
“If drawing a map that secures two more seats for the Republican Party means that we continue to see overdose deaths drop by 20%, then I’ll draw that map every single day of the week and twice on Sunday.
If drawing a map means that we’ll continue to see a 93% drop in illegal immigration, then I’ll sign it with a smile on my face.
We’re not here to be neutral arbiters of decline. We’re here to be active agents of American Greatness.”
President Trump did not mince words when asked about the stunning betrayal during a signing ceremony.
“I want to say it’s funny because I won Indiana all three times by a landslide, and I wasn’t working on it very hard. It would have been nice. I think we would have picked up two seats if we did that.
You had one gentleman—the head of the Senate, I guess—Bray, whatever his name is. I heard he was against it. He’ll probably lose his next primary, whatever that is. I hope he does, because he’s done a tremendous disservice.
When you think of it, it’s a great place. I love the people there. They love me. We won in a landslide all three times. You got tremendous votes—record votes. I got record votes. And there’s no reason for doing that.
The Democrats do it to us, so I can’t imagine why they wouldn’t do it. But I wasn’t very much involved. Still, there’s a man named Bray, I guess—the head of the Senate. Was that Bray? Is that the name? Bray?
I’m sure that whenever his primary is—I think it’s in two years—I’m sure he’ll go down. I’ll certainly support anybody that wants to go against him.”

Governor Mike Braun weighed in, pledging his support for President Trump’s efforts to purge RINOs from the Republican Party.
“I am very disappointed that a small group of misguided State Senators have partnered with Democrats to reject this opportunity to protect Hoosiers with fair maps and to reject the leadership of President Trump. Ultimately, decisions like this carry political consequences. I will be working with the President to challenge these people who do not represent the best interests of Hoosiers.”

Donald Trump Jr. escalated the message even further, issuing a blistering warning to Indiana Republicans who sided with the establishment and Democrats.
“If Indiana Republicans side with these Never Trumpers to do the dirty work of Democrats, I’ll be spending a lot of time in Indiana next year campaigning against every single one of them.
PS: These RINO consultants sabotaging MAGA need to be rooted out of the GOP!!!”
