Attorney General Pam Bondi announced a major update on the long-awaited release of Jeffrey Epstein case files โ and made it clear that only minimal redactions will be made, strictly to protect the privacy and safety of the victims.
Appearing on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo, Bondi addressed the tidal wave of speculation and concern surrounding the Epstein files, following reports that up to 1,000 FBI agents and civilians have been pulled from vital national security duties to comb through mountains of evidence related to Epsteinโs international sex trafficking ring.
Maria Bartiromo:
A lot of conversation about the Epstein files. And I recognize that when youโre dealing with children, it takes much more time. Youโve got to ensure that what youโre sending out publicly is not revealing any personal information. But can you give us a sense of those two items and whether or not weโll learn more about them?Pam Bondi:
Yes, youโre absolutely right, Maria. You know, tens of thousands of pages of documents and hundreds and hundreds of victims of Jeffrey Epstein. So the FBI โ they have been working round the clock, at my directive, at Kash Patel. Now Dan Bongino is there, who is a great asset for all of us at the FBI as well. But yeah, we have to protect their identity, their personal information, to make sure theyโre safe.
But other than that, we are releasing all of these documents as soon as we can get them redacted โ to protect the victims of him, of all of these horrific crimes that he committed.

Her comments come on the heels of a Vanity Fair report describing the FBIโs New York field office operating in โall hands on deckโ mode, with agents working 12-hour overnight shifts and even bringing pillows to the office โ all under Bondiโs directive to ensure full disclosure.
According to multiple reports, over a thousand agents and civilian employees are now working around the clock to redact Jeffrey Epstein-related documents.
