Washed-up and perpetually angry Democrat strategist James Carville is spiraling. He recently took to his “Politicon” podcast to fantasize about treating those supporting the Trump agenda to benefit America like how Nazi collaborators were treated after WW II.
Ever since President Donald Trump’s decisive victory over Kamala Harris in November, Carville has bounced from one crazy theory to the next as he desperately grapples with the reality of how badly Democrats have fallen.
In February, Carville gleefully claimed that the Trump White House would “collapse in the next 30 days.”
Thirty days later, according to Rasmussen Reports, President Trump’s approval was at 52%,his highest approval since Carville’s wishful thinking.
In early March, Carville bizarrely claimed the blowup between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was due to Trump suffering from ‘syphilis.’
Now Carville is taking the left’s “everything we don’t like is Hitler/Nazi” rhetoric to the next level.
During Friday’s podcast, Carville suggested that those who cooperate with President Donald Trump’s administration may be treated the way Nazi collaborators were at the end of World War II.
Carville said, “Do you know what’s going to happen? Do you know how this ends?”
“Do you know what these collaborators….what the country is going to feel toward collaborators with this regime?”
“Maybe you need to go in history and see what happened in August of 1944 after Paris was liberated. They didn’t take very kindly to the collaborators. No…it was not a very pretty sight in the streets of Paris.”
“I’m not saying that these people should be placed in pajamas and have their head shaved, marched down Pennsylvania Avenue, and spit on.”
“I’m not saying that, but I’m saying that that did happen.”
“And I’m saying that these people betrayed the French nation in the same way that I think that these law firms and these giant corporate conglomerates are betraying the United States. What their comeuppance is, I can only guess.”
“I don’t believe you should assault anybody. Spitting on somebody is an assault. I don’t recommend doing that.”
“I guess involuntarily shaving somebody’s head is another assault and illegal. Don’t don’t do that.”
“But these people are a disgrace to the law firms they represent, to the companies that they epresent and are supposed to be in their self-interest. And they’re a disgrace to the United States.”
