Fox News also noted there was a problem with Newsom’s audio:

Newsom attacked President Trump and accused him of declaring a war and assaulting the First Amendment:

Gavin Newsom pretended to tear up as he encouraged the illegal aliens and rioters to keep fighting.

“We all need to stand up and be held to a higher level of accountability,” Newsom said.

“If you exercise your First Amendment rights, please do it peacefully. I know many of you are feeling deep anxiety, stress and fear,” he said.

“What Donald Trump wants most is your fealty, your silence, to be complicit in this moment,” Newsom added.

Newsom’s dumpster fire address to California comes after a federal judge declined to grant him an emergency restraining order on Trump’s use of the military in response to the Los Angeles riots.
