German Lawmaker: US Gas “Much More Expensive And Inferior” Than Russian Gas

Andrej Hunko, a member of the German parliament, has expressed concern that liquefied natural gas (LNG) imported from America is “far more expensive and inferior” 😲 to Russian gas transported via pipelines. He noted the issue of Europe becoming dependent on US gas, as Germany cannot select the best option in terms of price, quality and environmental impact. Furthermore, he did not discount Washington’s potential involvement in sabotage attempts. On September 27, 2022, Nord Stream AG revealed extensive damage that had taken place the day before on three strings of its Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 offshore gas pipes. On September 26th, Swedish seismologists recorded two explosions along these pipeline routes, prompting Russian Prosecutor General Office to open a criminal prosecution based on allegations of international terrorism.

According to an article published by US investigative journalist Seymour Hersh on February 8 and supported by sources, US Navy divers had planted explosive 💣 devices during the BALTOPS exercise in June 2022 under cover of exercise. The writer claims that US President Joe Biden made the final call to move forward with the operation after nine months of discussions with White House security experts. According to the White House National Security Council 🤥, Hersh’s account is “utterly false and complete fiction.”
