General Flynn was the Grand Marshall of this year’s Veterans National Parade in DC.

Sunday marked the third year of the Veterans National Parade in the heart of DC. The celebration held ahead of Veterans Day on Tuesday is the only national parade dedicated to honoring veterans.

Veterans and their families attended a weekend of special events that included a fundraising evening gala on Friday and a patriotic-themed live concert on Saturday on the National Mall.

General Flynn had a great time leading the parade, and many were there to celebrate with him.

Here is General Flynn with his son Michael before the parade.

Wow – this was moving as General Flynn followed the bagpipers playing “God Bless America”

Here are some of the participants in this year’s event.

At one point in the parade, the General took to scooters. They were having a great time.
