President Trump on Friday morning announced that he directed his Justice Department to investigate Jeffrey Epstein’s relationship with Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, JP Morgan Chase and others.
Trump said records show these men and others spent a lot of time with Epstein and on his island.
“Now that the Democrats are using the Epstein Hoax, involving Democrats, not Republicans, to try and deflect from their disastrous SHUTDOWN, and all of their other failures, I will be asking A.G. Pam Bondi, and the Department of Justice, together with our great patriots at the FBI, to investigate Jeffrey Epstein’s involvement and relationship with Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Reid Hoffman, J.P. Morgan, Chase, and many other people and institutions, to determine what was going on with them, and him,” Trump said.

Later Friday, US Attorney General Pam Bondi announced that the Epstein-Clinton case was assigned to US Attorney Jay Clayton.
Clayton is the Trump-appointed Interim US Attorney for the Southern District of New York.
He most recently oversaw the sex crimes case against rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
“Thank you, Mr. President. SDNY U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton is one of the most capable and trusted prosecutors in the country, and I’ve asked him to take the lead. As with all matters, the Department will pursue this with urgency and integrity to deliver answers to the American people,” Bondi said.

Bill Clinton was good friends with Epstein and traveled on his private jet dubbed ‘Lolita Express’ over two dozen times and according to pilot logs, underage teenagers were on the flights with Clinton.
It was previously reported that Virginia Giuffre claimed Bill Clinton was at Epstein’s pedophile island with Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and “2 young girls.”
A Clinton spokeswoman denied Giuffre’s claims and said the former president has “never been to Little St. James Island.”
JP Morgan previously settled a class action lawsuit with Epstein accusers.
The banking giant was ordered to pay a $290 million settlement to Epstein’s victims.
