House Democrats are now harassing Interim US Attorney Alina Habba over her federal criminal case against Rep. LaMonica McIver, according to CBS News.

Committee Democrats said, โ€œMs. Habbaโ€™s decision to charge Rep. McIver appears to have violated DOJโ€™s own policy requiring approval by DOJโ€™s Public Integrity Section prior to charging a Member of Congress for actions taken in their official capacityโ€ฆโ€

US Attorney Alina Habba recently announced federal charges against Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver for assaulting ICE agents.

โ€œToday my office has charged Congresswoman McIver with violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 111(a)(1) for assaulting, impeding and interfering with law enforcement,โ€ Alina Habba said last month.

โ€œNo one is above the law โ€” politicians or otherwise,โ€ Alina Habba said.

Rep. LaMonica McIver verbally abused and physically assaulted federal agents at a detention facility in Newark last month.

ICE bodycam footage revealed Rep. LaMonica McIver was verbally abusing federal agents and threatening to destroy their careers.

โ€œI touch whoever I want motherf*cker!โ€ McIver shouted.
