Hunter Biden Sold Access To His Then-VP Father To Reap Millions From Foreign Oligarchs

The House Oversight Committee’s latest disclosure casts a spotlight on Hunter Biden’s financial transactions, revealing a web of payments originating from Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan.

These payments are under scrutiny for their alleged connection to trading on the Biden family name.

The committee has unveiled a trail of evidence suggesting that Hunter Biden’s company received an estimated $20 million in payments from foreign sources. These financial inflows are being portrayed as transactions facilitating access to the “Biden network,” an intricate web of connections, while Joe Biden served as Vice President during the Obama administration (2009-2017).

Committee Chair James Comer, a Kentucky Republican, remarked, “During Joe Biden’s vice presidency, Hunter Biden sold him as ‘the brand’ to reap millions from oligarchs in Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine. It appears no real services were provided other than access to the Biden network, including Joe Biden himself. And Hunter Biden seems to have delivered.”

One of the disclosed bank memos highlights a wire transfer on February 14, 2014, involving Russian oligarch Yelena Baturina and Hunter Biden’s shell company, Rosemont Seneca Thornton. Of the $3.5 million wired, $1 million was directly transferred to Hunter Biden’s business partner Devon Archer, while the remaining funds fueled the launch of Rosemont Seneca Bohai, an account intended to receive further foreign funding.

Another memo uncovers Hunter Biden’s involvement with Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian gas company. Biden and Archer secured positions on the company’s board of directors, each commanding an annual compensation of $1 million. The move followed a meeting in Italy with Mykola Zlochevsky, the head of Burisma. The committee notes Vice President Joe Biden’s subsequent visit to Ukraine, implying a connection.

In April 2014, a transaction involving “Kazakhstani oligarch” Kenes Rakishev emerges, revealing a wire transfer to Rosemont Seneca Bohai. Interestingly, Hunter Biden was paid the exact amount for a sports car by the same company just a day later. A prior meeting between Hunter Biden and Rakishev in Washington, DC, adds an intriguing layer to the story.

The committee underscores that Hunter Biden received substantial payments from Yelena Baturina, Burisma Holdings, and Kenes Rakishev. Notably, Vice President Biden engaged in dinners with these individuals during 2014 and 2015 in Washington, DC.

The backdrop of these financial ties is Joe Biden’s involvement in Ukraine policy after the 2014 Maidan coup. His role and actions have generated controversy, including his intervention in the firing of a prosecutor investigating Burisma. The revelations raise questions about the connections between political influence, financial transactions, and geopolitical dynamics.
