Elon Musk, a key advisor to Donald Trump, has once again spotlighted the openly racist and genocidal rhetoric of some of South Africaโs most influential politicians, along with the governmentโs blatantly discriminatory policies against white Afrikaners.
In a post to his social media platform X, Muskโresponding to a video where Julius Malema, the leader of the Economic Freedom Fightersโs party, is chanting โKill the Boer, Kill the Farmerโ in front of a massive crowdโwrote: โVery few people know that there is a major political party in South Africa that is actively promoting white genocide.โ

Musk, in his post, then criticized the lack of media coverage of virulently anti-white rhetoric in South Africa, highlighting a recent arena chant calling for violence against white people. He also condemned a new law allowing the expropriation of โproperty from white peopleโ without compensation.
โA whole arena chanting about killing white people,โ Musk wrote. โWhere is the outrage? Why is there no coverage by the legacy media?โ
He then criticized a South African law that prevents his Starlink satellite internet service from operating in the country, alleging it is due to his race, as he is โnot Black.โ
President Trump has previously condemned the race-based land expropriation law as an โegregious actionโ that unjustly targets white South Africans. In response, he ordered cuts to U.S. aid to Pretoria to pressure the government to abandon the policy.
Pretoria absurdly claims that its land expropriation without compensation policy is intended to address historical injustices and is not racially discriminatory.
Musk followed up with another post on Monday, where he argued: โThe legacy media never mentions white genocide in South Africa, because it doesnโt fit their narrative that whites can be victims.โ

This isnโt the first time Musk has highlighted the deeply troubling situation in South Africa. In February 2024, he drew attention to the issue in a Twitter post featuring Julius Malema refusing to say that he would not call for the slaughter of white South Africans.
โThe likely future leader of South Africa calls for genocide of the 4 million whites who live there,โ Musk wrote.

Malemaโs vile rhetoric has real-world consequences. In 2022 alone, white South African farmers suffered over 300 attacks, including 50 brutal murdersโmany marked by extreme brutality.
Right-wing activist Lauren Southern produced a compelling documentary on South Africaโs farm murders a few years ago, which remains well worth watching.
Earlier this month, Tucker Carlson interviewed Afrikaner Dr. Ernst Roets. The two discussed the ongoing farm murders and the future of Afrikaners in South Africa.
