“No, I Didn’t Make a Mistake” – Trump Stands His Ground, Fires Back at Reporter Asking If He Will Apologize Over a Meme (VIDEO)

Donald Trump speaking to reporters on an airplane, surrounded by microphones during a press event.

The losers in the dying legacy media are obsessing over a Lion King meme that depicted the Obamas as apes.

President Trump shared a video about the 2020 election fraud in Pennsylvania.

At the end of the video, a new video autoplayed – the screenshot of the new video, which was a play on The Lion King, depicted Michelle and Barack Obama as apes.

In the full video, Kamala Harris is a turtle, Joe Biden is a gorilla and President Trump is the lion.

The White House said the media is using the meme to distract from President Trump’s accomplishments.

“It was a meme.. It was from a Lion King video. Leave it to the leftist media, of course, to talk about this all day rather than the DOW reaching 50,000 points for the first time,” Karoline Leavitt said.

President Trump stood his ground as reporters peppered him with questions about the meme during a gaggle aboard Air Force One.

“The social media post that you took down earlier today, um, the White House says that a staffer sent it. Who sent it and are you going to fire them?” the reporter asked President Trump.

President Trump refused to back down.

“No. I looked at it. I saw it and I just looked at the first part. It was about voter fraud…in some place. There was a lot of voter fraud… and I didn’t see the whole thing…I looked at the first part,” Trump said.

“And it was really about voter fraud and the machines and how crooked it is and how disgusting it is and I gave it to the people, and generally they look at the whole thing but I guess somebody didn’t and they posted it and we took it down,” Trump said.

“A number of people are calling on you to apologize. Is that something that you are you going to?” the reporter asked Trump.

Trump stood his ground.

“No, I didn’t make a mistake,” Trump said. “I look at thousands of things…and it was a take on the Lion King.”
