Outrageous Biden Immigration Chaos: 82% Of Illegal Immigrants Unaccounted For Despite Court Order

In a shocking revelation by The Epoch Times, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has failed to issue court summonses for approximately 82% of the illegal immigrants it allowed into the United States, despite a federal court order to halt the Biden administration’s immigration parole program.

Judge T. Kent Wetherell II of Florida’s Northern federal court district issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) in May, blocking the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) from releasing noncitizens into the United States through the “Parole with Conditions” (PWC) policy. The PWC program allowed illegal immigrants to be paroled into the United States with the expectation that they would check in with ICE within 60 days to receive a Notice to Appear (NTA) and begin court proceedings for their removal from the country.

Despite the restraining order, the Biden administration proceeded to release over 2,500 illegal immigrants into the United States, claiming they were already processed into the PWC system before the TRO.

According to ICE’s court filings, 41.4% of the released immigrants failed to check in within 60 days to receive their court summonses and initiate their removal proceedings. Only 18% of those who checked in received NTAs. Shockingly, 82% of these immigration parolees are either awaiting their NTAs after 60 days or their whereabouts are unknown.

Judge Wetherell expressed deep concern about DHS’s lack of a plan to track down the parolees who failed to check in, doubting the agency’s seriousness in enforcing the directives. He also pointed out that ICE had not committed to tracking down PWC parolees who did not report back to begin their removal proceedings.

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody had previously challenged another immigration parole program known as Parole Plus Alternatives to Detention (Parole + ATD), which included tracking parolees with GPS monitors. However, Judge Wetherell vacated the Parole + ATD program in March due to its conflict with requirements in the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Act.

NTD News reached out to the DHS for comment on tracking the 2,108 illegal immigrants awaiting their summonses, but received no response. Despite the judge’s ruling, he lacks the authority to force DHS to find the missing illegals, merely requiring periodic reports.

The Biden administration’s failure to enforce the court order raises serious questions about its accountability and the efficacy of its immigration policies, leaving the nation grappling with unresolved immigration chaos.
