Pence’s Quip About Buttigieg Has Jean-Pierre Demanding An Apology

TRUTH PUKE’S TAKE: Former vice president Mike Pence was forced to apologize after making a “homophobic joke” about Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s paternity leave, according to White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. At the annual Gridiron Club dinner in Washington D.C. on Monday night, Pence addressed lawmakers and media about Buttigieg taking off while Americans faced new difficulties with air travel. She added that Pence should apologize specifically to women and LGBTQ individuals since his comment viewed women suffering from postpartum depression as being made in jest; former chief of staff Marc Short also called the White House response as “fake indignation”.

Short argued that the Biden administration should prioritize less on appeasing the woke police and more on bank collapses, aircraft almost colliding in midair, railway derailments, and supply chain crises. He also criticized former vice president Donald Trump for how he handled a demonstration at the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
