
President Trump on Sunday addressed the nation after the mass shooting at Brown University and the terror attack in Australia.
On Saturday, an unidentified gunman reportedly “yelled something” before killing two students and wounding nine more.
Unconfirmed reports suggest the shooter shouted “Allah Akbar” before opening fire.
Police say a man in his 20s who is considered a ‘person of interest’ was taken into custody.
On Sunday, a Muslim gunman targeted Jews celebrating Hanukkah at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia and killed 11 people and badly injured 29.
One of the two Islamic terrorists in Australia was killed, the other is wounded and in custody.
President Trump addressed the nation from the White House on Sunday.
I would just like to pay my respects for the people – two are no longer with us – Brown University – nine injured – and two are looking down on us right now from heaven,” Trump said.
Trump continued, “Likewise in Australia – that was a terrible attack. 11 dead, 29 badly wounded. And that was an anti-Semitic attack, obviously. And I just want to pay my respects to everybody.
“I must say in Syria also. We had an attack in Syria and we had three great patriots terminated,” Trump said. “I just want to pay my respects.”
Trump continued, “To Australia and the Prime Minister – we have a great relationship – that’s a terrible situation going on over there.”
