President Trump on Sunday released a statement after it was revealed Joe Biden was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
On Sunday, it was reported that 82-year-old Joe Biden was diagnosed with an โaggressive formโ of prostate cancer.
According to Bidenโs spox, the former president was diagnosed with prostate cancer last Friday with the cancer cells spreading to his bones.
โLast week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms. On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone,โ the statement said.
โWhile this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management,โ the statement said.
President Trump wished Joe Biden a successful recovery.
โMelania and I are saddened to hear about Joe Bidenโs recent medical diagnosis. We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family, and we wish Joe a fast and successful recovery,โ Trump said.
Many medical professionals do not believe Joe Biden was just in the past week diagnosed with prostate cancer.
