Rep. Greene Blames “Mental Illness, Drugs, And Evil Forces” For Mall Shooting.

In the wake of a tragic shooting at a mall in Allen, Texas, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is speaking out and taking a bold stance on the issue. Blaming the shooting on “mental illness, drugs, and evil forces,” Greene is not shying away from the difficult conversations that need to be had in the aftermath of such a horrific event.

Multiple people were shot and killed in the attack, but thanks to the swift action of a brave police officer, the shooter was quickly taken down. Brian Glenn, director of programming at the Right Side Broadcasting Network, shared a video of the deceased shooter, calling him a “piece of shit” and thanking the officer who took him out.

Greene retweeted the video, adding her own thoughts on the matter. “This is exactly what this monster deserves,” she wrote. “Thank God for the brave officer that courageously ran into the line of fire to save others.”

While some may try to blame this shooting on lax gun laws or the availability of firearms, Greene is taking a more nuanced approach. She understands that there are deeper issues at play, and that we need to address them head on if we want to prevent tragedies like this from happening in the future.

“We pray for the victims and their families and an end to the mental illness, drugs, and evil forces that cause people to commit such horrors,” Greene said. And she’s right. We need to do everything we can to address the root causes of violence in our society, and we need to start having these difficult conversations if we want to make any progress.

In the end, we can only hope that tragedies like this become a thing of the past. But until then, we must continue to work together to find real solutions and prevent these senseless acts of violence from happening again.
