Rep. Tim Burchett (D-TN) has fast become one of America’s best members of Congress thanks to his near-impeccable voting record and hilarious put-downs of woke liberal anchors during adversarial interviews. He once again went viral on Friday after a liberal tried to ambush him on the streets of D.C. regarding a classic inside-the-beltway story that no ordinary American cares about.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Jeffrey Goldberg, the Trump-hating editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, claimed earlier this week he was “accidentally” added to a secure Signal group chat by National Security Adviser Mike Waltz where top Trump administration officials discussed sensitive military operations against Iran-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen and called them “war plans.”
But instead of leaving the conversation, Goldberg took screenshots of the conversation and ran to his keyboard to try to leak the military operation. Team Trump angrily fired back and called Goldberg a liar, saying no war plans were discussed.
Then, Goldberg and his co-worker Shane Harris published details of the military plans against the Houthis to call Team Trump’s bluff and humiliate Trump. But Goldberg ended up accidentally proving them right on Wednesday by now referring to the military operations as “attack plans.”
A youthful leftist, likely either employed by the Democratic National Committee or Media Matters, decided to ambush Burchett while on the streets of Washington DC Thursday afternoon to ask him a stupid question about the made-up media scandal.
“Congressman, do you trust Trump’s national security team to keep our war plans safe?” the nosy young man asked.
Burchett responded with a savage and hilarious quip, which may cause the woke leftist to cry to his parents.
“Do you trust your mother every night to fix your Hot Pockets and make sure your Game Boy is turned on?” retorted Burchett.
The embarrassed stalker had no answer and let Burchett walk away.

While not many members of Congress possess Burchett’s wit and humor, they should still implement a similar approach when dealing with Democrat activists and liberal corporate media reporters.
