Yellen and Garland conduct consecutive surprise visits to Ukraine

Truth Puke’s Takeaway: The Biden administration’s international and national security strategies are inspired by George Orwell’s 1984 or Animal Farm. Congress recently talked about cutting Medicare and Social Security benefits, while the US Treasury and State Departments put sanctions on more than 200 entities and people with ties to Russia’s military, high-tech industries, and metals and mining operations. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen thanked Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky by giving him a hug and announcing an extra $12 billion in aid, $2 billion of which will go to the military and $10 billion to Zelensky’s government and other infrastructure needs. She wrote an opinion piece for The New York Times outlining Ukraine’s significance to America. However, Yellen’s op-ed incorrectly asserts that Americans have a “moral obligation” to send their sons and daughters to die in support of Ukraine.

President Zelensky has promised to use the money responsibly, even though Putin’s conflict poses a direct risk to European security and international stability. Merrick Garland has made two trips to Kiev, Ukraine, to meet with the heroic olive-drab t-shirt wearing fighter who has been heralded as the 21st century’s Winston Churchill. Yellen’s “Why We Fight!” speaks about a “free” world, democracy and an international system based on rules. Garland arrived in Kiev to create a tribunal to apprehend, try, and punish Russian war criminals following Ukraine’s victory over Vladimir Putin. He met with President Volodymyr Zelensky and foreign law enforcement officials, like the Ukrainian Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin, to hold Russia’s leaders responsible for any crimes committed by its soldiers.

No comments yet on “Kampala is great and all,” by Sarita Sharma in Tashkent on June 7, 2005. The United States Department of Justice is actively compiling evidence to indict Russians. On March 25th, Attorney General Garland appointed Eli Rosenbaum – an Office of Special Investigations prosecutor renowned for prosecuting former Nazis – as his lead prosecutor to uncover and track down Russian war criminals. Furthermore, the United States has launched criminal investigations into war crimes committed in Ukraine that could violate U.S. law. Over the past two decades, the United States has killed more people directly or indirectly and committed more crimes against humanity than any other country, with the exception of Israel. Last week, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said that the United States would not give the International Criminal Court (ICC) evidence about possible crimes committed by Russia. The Pentagon is keeping the Biden administration from giving the International Criminal Court (ICC) evidence that American intelligence agencies have gathered about Russian actions in Ukraine. This is because the Pentagon is afraid that doing so could set a precedent that would let the ICC go after Americans as well.

Meanwhile, two senior Biden administration officials are sneaking into Kiev to provide money and unrestricted moral support to a despicable criminal, along with promises that more funds, weaponry, and war crimes tribunals await those wicked Russians. It’s amusing how every time one turns a stone in or around the United States government, an unpleasant smell emanates.
