A Louisiana inmate who escaped from a New Orleans jail last month and remains on the run has released a video begging President Donald Trump and rapper Lil Wayne for help.
Antoine Massey, one of 10 men who broke out of the Orleans Justice Center (OJC), claims that he was โlet outโ from the prison and did not โbreak out.โ
โThey say that I broke out,โ Massey says in the video. โI didnโt break out. I was let out.โ

There have been allegations that the inmates had assistance from staff at the jail. A 33-year-old maintenance worker was charged with shutting off water to the toilet to facilitate the escape, and others provided shelter, transportation, or supplies.
Massey goes on to ask the president and rapper for help.
โIโm saying people that been through the system that know itโs corrupt. Lil Wayne, Donald Trump, please, Iโm asking for help. You know what Iโm saying?โ he said.
The inmate says he has a signed affidavit from the person who accused him of assault, saying they made it up. He is facing charges of domestic abuse involving strangulation, theft of a motor vehicle, and a parole violation.
โIf the individual depicted in the video is indeed Antoine Massey, we strongly urge him to come forward and turn himself in to the proper authorities,โ the Orleans parish sheriffโs office said in a statement responding to the video. โCooperating with law enforcement is in his best interest and may help avoid additional charges. It is important that justice is served appropriately and that due process is followed.โ
There is currently a $50,000 reward offered for information leading to Masseyโs arrest.
Massey previously escaped from troubled Youth Study Center in 2007.
On May 16, 2025, ten inmates escaped from the Orleans Justice Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, in one of the stateโs largest jailbreaks. They used hair clippers and stolen blankets to cut through a wall behind a toilet, exiting through a loading dock around 1 a.m.
The escape went unnoticed for over seven hours due to an employee stepping away to get food.
As of June 3, eight of the ten escapees have been recaptured.
At least 14 people have been arrested for aiding the inmates, including friends, family, a maintenance worker, and a former jail employee.
