Indiana Senate Majority Leader Chris Garten gave a screaming endorsement of the Indiana redistricting plan that will give Republicans nine congressional seats ahead of the Senate’s vote on Thursday.
The map would give Republicans a 9-0 advantage in Indiana as Democrats attempt to cancel Republican votes in blue states.
“Some will say these maps are political,” Garten said before a long pause, then smacking the table in front of him.
“Let me be clear: YOU’RE DAMN RIGHT THEY ARE! POLITICAL POLICY IS POLITICAL! SAFE STREETS ARE POLITICAL!”
“If drawing a map that secures two more seats for the Republican Party means that we continue to see overdose deaths drop by 20%, then I’ll draw that map every single day of the week and twice on Sunday If drawing a map means that we’ll continue to see a 93% drop in illegal immigration, then I’ll sign it with a smile on my face,” Garten continued.
“We’re not here to be neutral arbiters of decline. We’re here to be active agents of American Greatness.”

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the Senate, despite Republicans holding 40 of the 50 seats, killed the bill to redraw congressional maps with just 19 Republicans voting in favor.
More than half of State Senate Republicans voted AGAINST the bill.
This comes after Vice President JD Vance called out State Senate President Rod Bray for “whipping his members against” the bill, after Bray had told Trump and Vance that “he wouldn’t fight redistricting.”
